About me
I’m a marketing professional dedicated to the impact nonprofits have in their communities, on society, and throughout the world. From a small high school project to raise money for my local United Way to working on a large team to complete a $5.43 billion capital campaign, I have over 20 years of experience in fundraising on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. I have a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Northern Illinois University, with on-the-ground research focused on the availability of food assistance programs, and the relationship between donor and recipient organizations in international grant programs.
Over the years, I’ve seen far too many organizations spend time and money on strategic plans that end up sitting on a shelf because they didn’t take implementation into account. When you work with me, you will get immediate, hands-on support with the consistent work needed to build and sustain relationships with donors, volunteers, and other supporters.
In me, you will find not only a effective partner, but an ethical one. I’m a member of the American Society of Public Administration and strong adherent to its code of ethics. I’m vigilant against the uses of deceptive patterns and other abusive marketing tactics, and will protect your organization and donors’ sensitive information. With many years of experience serving on nonprofit boards, I’m sensitive and supportive of your organization leadership’s duties of obedience, loyalty, and care.
